Delete your account

You can delete your Oxinion account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
One account, every app. Signing in to Oxinion signs you in to all of our apps, so deleting your account deletes it everywhere. If you also use Oxinion Finance, your portfolio, positions, strategies and settings there are deleted as part of the same request. There is no way to keep one and delete the other, and no way to undo it.
From the app
Open Oxinion, go to the Profile tab, tap Settings, and choose Delete account at the bottom of that screen. You will be asked to confirm twice. Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period and nothing to wait for by email.
If you have a job that is still recording, stop or submit it first. The app will not delete an account mid-distribution, because a business is expecting that delivery today.
If you no longer have the app
Email info@oxinion.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will confirm the request against that address and delete the account within 30 days. We will email you when it is done.
Deleting data without closing your account
You do not have to delete the whole account to have something removed. Email info@oxinion.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my data, and say what you want deleted. We will confirm the request against that address and action it within 30 days.
We can remove your profile details, the notification tokens for your devices, your job applications, and the coordinates and photographs from any distribution that was not approved and paid for — a round you cancelled, one that was rejected, or one still waiting on review.
What we cannot remove on request is the record of a distribution a business already reviewed and paid for, because that is their financial record and we are required to keep it. If your request covers one of those, we will tell you which record it is and what it contains rather than quietly leaving it in place. Deleting your account instead strips your identity out of those records, which is described below.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account, email address and password
- Your profile — name, city, description and transport
- Every GPS coordinate we hold from your distributions, including runs still inside the normal retention window
- Photographs and notes you submitted as proof of a distribution
- Your job applications and the messages you sent with them
- The notification token for every device you signed in on
- The record of which alerts we sent you and when, and your usage of the AI flyer designer
- Anything you sent us through a form while signed in — an enquiry, with the name, email address and phone number on it
- Everything held by Oxinion Finance under your account — portfolios, positions, strategy rules, autopilot history, broker and communication settings, and any API keys you created
What is kept, and why
A distribution that a business reviewed and paid for is that business’s financial record, and we are required to keep records of payments made. Those job records stay, with your identity removed from them: the quantity, the amount, the dates and a summary of the walk — distance, duration and speed, containing no coordinates — with no link to you or to any account.
Nothing that remains names you, describes you, or can be traced back to you. Nothing that remains can be used to reconstruct where you walked.
